Our
Story

Welcome to our church family! Our journey began as a small group of believers gathering for Bible study in the warmth of our homes. As our faith and fellowship grew, we were blessed to find a dedicated study leader in Earle Rowland. Soon, the Samaritan Church generously invited us to use their sanctuary, allowing us to expand our gatherings and outreach.

In 2013, Dr. Greene joined us as our first pastor, guiding us with wisdom and compassion. Under his leadership, we experienced significant growth and in June 2015, we had the privilege of welcoming The Carpenters for Christ. They built our beautiful chapel on land donated by the kind-hearted Margaret Baldwin Plowden, marking a significant milestone in our journey.

Our congregation continued to flourish, and so did our aspirations. In 2021, The Carpenters for Christ returned to construct our Fellowship Hall, aptly named Carpenters Hall. This space has become the heart of our community activities, hosting Bible study groups, overflow spaces for funeral services, community dinners, bridal receptions, baby showers, book club meetings, and so much more.

At our core, we are a community driven by faith, love, and the desire to serve. We believe in fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone can grow spiritually and build meaningful relationships. Our church is more than just a place of worship; it is a place where lives are transformed, and hearts are touched by the grace of God.

We invite you to join us on this incredible journey of faith and community. Whether you are seeking spiritual growth, a supportive community, or a place to serve, you will find a home here with us. Together, let's continue to build a legacy of faith, love, and service for generations to come.
